Considering the evolving pandemic situation in China, the government has intensified a number of COVID-19 prevention and control measures. To align with these efforts, Messe Frankfurt is rescheduling two of its Mobility & Logistics trade shows in the country.

CAPAS Chengdu will move to August 18-20, 2022, instead of the original time slot (May 19-21, 2022). In addition, the Auto Maintenance and Repair Expo (AMR) will be held in Tianjin from March 23 to 26, 2023 (instead of May 27 to 30, 2022).

Mr. Stephan Buurma, Member of the Board of Messe Frankfurt Group, said: “CAPAS and AMR are two leading business platforms for the automotive industry in Southwest China and the Jing-jin- ji, respectively. Therefore, it is important that we continue to support the government’s direction to stem the spread of COVID-19. In addition, the health and safety of our exhibitors, visitors and other attendees are always our top priorities. And so, following extensive discussions with stakeholders, we have decided to reschedule both exhibits to help maximize on-site experiences for all.

Over the coming months, both shows will continue to plan and prepare for pre-show events and activities that will maintain market momentum ahead of the physical shows. CAPAS will offer a wide range of extended services such as webinars, online business matchmaking, industry research, repair shop visits and roadshows that provide more business resources extended and more effective to the actors of the region. Meanwhile, until the 2023 show dates, AMR will continue to offer AMR online business matching services and host a range of industry activities to maintain market momentum in the aftermarket. of the automobile.

Mindful of the COVID-19 outbreak, organizers will establish appropriate safety parameters to support the well-being of everyone attending the shows. The implementation of these measures aims to ensure that the show remains a secure platform for businesses.
