ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. — Dickinson’s men’s track team had a limited team compete Saturday at the Blue Jay Tune-Up on the Elizabethtown College campus.

A trio of Devils competed in the 400m with Jack Corkum taking 17th place with a time of 56.36. Anh Nguyen clocked 57.07, while Tyler Erdmann clocked 1:03.38.

Teddy Mercer finished just outside the top-3 in the 800m, stopping the clock at 2:00.21, which was good for fourth place.

Dickinson had a team battle it out in the 4x400m with the group of Max Collins, Luke Sternick, Erdmann and Mercer finishing 11th with a time of 4:30.50.

Three DC competitors finished the shot put in the Top 5 as Ethan Hart won the event with a throw of 15.37m. Graeson Ruch finished fourth with a mark of 13.07m, barely edging teammate Matthew Harvey at 13.05m.

Hart came just short of the discus victory as his distance of 43.05m was just 0.02 shy of Susquehanna University’s Tyler Hauk’s winning mark. Ruch was fourth at 40.50m and Harvey sixth (38.08m).

Dickinson will travel to Collegeville, Pa. next Friday for the first day of the Centennial Conference Championships at Ursinus College. The action starts at 1 p.m.
